Workdays
Monday through Friday.  Overtime when workload warrants it. 

Shop Hours
7:00am to 3:30pm with a half-hour for lunch. Sometime it’s necessary to have an evening shift and weekend shift work.  Summer hours for the shop can vary from 5:00am – 1:30pm or from 7:00am to 3:30pm depending on the heat levels.

Office Hours
8:00am to 5:00pm with one hour for lunch.  Office lunch time is generally 12:00pm to 1:00pm. 

Vacation Pay
is offered after one year of employment. First year of employment you receive 5 days, then after two years of employment you receive 10 days.

Paid Holidays
The following are paid holiday’s:

  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Floating Holiday after 1 year of employment (does not carry over to the next year)

All health insurances are available the first of the month after 60 days of employment

  • Health Insurance - (Kaiser) Company pays 90% of the employee’s coverage and employee pays remaining 10%.  Employees also pay for dependent coverage.  Choices are: Kaiser Plan 30 co-pay and HSA 1500/3000.  With the 1500/3000 plan KSF contributes monies to your HSA Bank Account.
  • Dental Insurance - (Premier Access) Employee paid.  Calendar year max is $1000.
  • Vision Insurance – (Z-S) Employee paid.  $10 co-pay for annual exam.
  • Life Insurance  -  (Lincoln Financial) is available after the first 60 days of employment.  Company pays for the first $15,000.00 per employee. Additional Life Insurance is available for  both employee and family, employee paid.
  • AFLAC Insurance – Employee paid.  Different coverage’s available are:  Accident, Hospital, Cancer, Short-Term Disability, and Life Insurance.
    401K Plan-is available after one full year of employment.  Enrollment is January 1st and July 1st.  The Company matches dollar for dollar up to the first 4% and you are vested after 6 years of employment.  Our selected funds include Vanguard, T. Rowe funds and many others. Subject to review.
  • Profit Sharing - is available after one year of employment and after fiscal year end on September 30th.
  • Paydays - Every other Friday at 3:30pm, or the morning of payday with direct deposit.

Management Carve-out

  • Dental PPO High option plan (Premier Access) – 90% paid by employer for employee only.  Calendar max is $2,000. .
  • Life Insurance (Lincoln Financial) – Extended amount Company pays first $30,000, with option to buy Additional Life Insurance for both employee and family.
  • Long Term Disability (Standard) – 100% paid by employer.  After 90 days of disability and unable to work, LTD is 66.6% of salary.


Insurance is reviewed in May of each year for renewal and changes.  Changes could occur anytime during the year.
